Robinho talks about leaving to the rest of the team

Robinho is not a Hughes type player.

Crying shame imo, a genuine world class player/star who we should be keeping!

What crying shame that you've resorted to turning every thread you post in into a dig about Hughes...

The assertion you've made above is patently fucking ridiculous - and the kind of lame crap I expect from the less intelligent posters on this board...

Robinho talks to team-mates about leaving Manchester City for Barcelona, reveals Roque Santa Cruz

NOT ONCE DOES RSC SAY THIS, WHY NOT JUST QUOTE HIM SAYING THIS IF HE SAID IT?

RSC says the lads have a laugh with him about the speculation but nowhere does he state that Robinho openly speaks of his desire to play for Barcelona!

Shame to see him go, with him a modicum of my hope will also leave to be honest.

Distresses me to see people turn on Robbie and how easily the media can make you turn on your own but my one prayer is that BM doesn't really represent the average blue and that elsewhere there are blues happy to watch entertaining and winning football.

Some City fans would still think the sun shines out of his arse if he walked on the pitch with a utd shirt on, just accept the fact that he doesnt want to be here, yet another prick of a footballer who takes the piss.

the players are cracking jokes about it in the dressing room.

Did people miss this part of the article?

I think people are taking it out of context really. If he leaves then he does so with my best wishes and I wish him well in his career at Barcelona but if he stays then we still have the great player we witnessed chip Almunia last season. He is not irreplacable given the form of Bellamy and Petrov or Pienaar (as the latter case may be come January!)

Maybe if you read the article and then realise it has nothing to do with the sensationalist headline you can all stop hating on our great player.

On the plus side, you'll all be well happy when Robbie goes and we're left looking to Tevez to entertain/score/do something. Nice one. I'm excited.

'Of course he talks to us about it,' Santa Cruz told Catalunya Radio. 'And the players are cracking jokes about it in the dressing room.
'In the English papers there's a lot of interest about Barca and Robinho is also not hiding his desire to play for them one day. But I guess we'll see.'

TMQ .. I have Robinho on the back of my shirt, even when at RM i always thought he was a top top player and when he came here i was literally gobsmacked .. the guy is a genius and i would love for him to stay .. look at the circumstances he came here in though without blue tinted specs on .. i think even if burnley came in for him on "that" day he would have signed .. but there is too much being said here and too often for there not to be some sort of deal going on .. city are denying it in my opinion to keep the fans happy .. he will be gone sooner or later IMO .. it will be a shame but we have to move on and get ready for games without him and get in a suitable replacement that actually wants to play for us ..

Billy, your becoming boring and tedious.

I have no desire to fall out with you, but your constant little digs are out of order.

Im posting my opinion, just like you do.

Disagree with it by all means but leave out the sanctimonious bollox you spout now on a daily basis to any poster who dares to hold a different opinion to yourself.

BillyShears, the only poster on Bluemoon who has any intelligence or opinions worth listening to, you heard it here first, straight from the horse's mouth!

2 Hopes for me:

If a deal isn't done he gives his all until summer.

If a deal is done we get a quality replacement. My guess is we're working on this now.

I feel another Real Madrid coming on here where he spits his dummy out and demmands to leave!

Hope not I love Robinho and think he will be instrumental in our success as a club going forward!

He's not gonna do this in the January transfer window months before a World Cup - it'd be too easy for us to tell him we don't need the money and he can rot in the reserves and ruin his World Cup chances.

He'll stay unless we get something massive in exchange and seeing as Barca went a bit mad with the Eto'o + millions = Ibrahimovic; maybe they'll come to us with a Toure + millions = Robinho?

If not, he's staying and will say he's happy to do so.
