yeh just like he influenced the team tonight????
come on how long till we see the magic ,we know its in him,its just when are we gonna see it??
you lot keep saying he is the man,an then...........................................???????
He can only perform when he has the ball. He didn't have it enough tonight and he still created our only goal so can't really knock him for that seeing as is job isn't to win the ball
World class players make sure they get the ball if they want it enough, look at Messi, Gerrard etc... always asking for the ball and doing what they can to get on the ball. Until Robby starts doing this so we can see his world class ball skills he will never be world class or the best in the world as he said he wants to be.
Messi and Gerrard get more of the ball because they have better ball winners and passers in there side
We had Zabeleta and SWP in centre mid whereas Liverpool have Mascherano and Alonso and Barca have Toure and Xavi. A big big difference
Robinho isn't going to win many tackles do he's not going to win the ball on his own, he needs the other players to do that and the others players who should be doing that weren't good enough tonight
I see your point about the better players around them players however what about when we're playing shite teams like WBA, Stoke, Bolton, Boro etc... surely Zab, SWP, Komps, NDJ etc... are better than there players, so why does he hide and not want the ball against them teams? It's not just tonight he's been silent.
One thing Robinho doesn't do is hide, he is always looking for the ball and against Stoke he was always on the ball but he and the rest of the team weren't good enough to break them down that day. Robinho has been poor on the whole away from home and so have a lot of players and while i understand that he cost 32 million i don't think he deserves the constant grilling he gets on here after every match when most of our other players have been just as bad
