Robinho to Besiktas 99% done

I can't quite believe this move.

No offence to the Turkish people on here, but Turkey is the Graveyard for footballers. Similar to retiring to the USA and playing MLS!

And, anyway, we would only be left with Silva as a play maker in the team. That doesn't quite make sense, when Mancini can offload Robinho in January, if he really saw fit.

If Turkey is the Graveyard for footballers, Anelka, John Carew, Frank Ribery, Juanfran, Roberto Carlos and etc. are all Zombi!

Miroslav Stoch and Quaresma are candidates to be Zombi.

You are not completely wrong. Here can be the Graveyard for footballers but the footballers you are talking about are usually over 32-33 year old. They sign the last contract of their football lives to earn the last high amount of money. You can not compare USA and Turkish football. They are so different.

I think that you follow Turkish Super League more. Then you can change some of your ideas.

Have you ever heard about 'Çarşı'? Have you ever watched a live match of Besiktas in Inonu? If 28.000 supporters cheer 'Robinho Robinho' during the match and write songs to you, you can play 2,3,4 years I think:)

Our fans worshipped Robinho and he became the new hero of the club. The problem is he has no loyalty to any club and is all about the parties, samba, and money.

In some other news, Lyon want him on loan but unlikely: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2010/08/20/2079266/olympique-lyonnais-bid-for-manchester-citys-robinho-on-loan" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer ... ho-on-loan</a>

Thanks for your ideas about our country's football. I can add other players' names as a Turkish.

Hiddink manages Turkey

George Hagi, Giovanni Dos Santos, Jo Alves, AbdulKader Keita played for Galatasaray.
Elano and Kewell play for Galatasaray
Frank Riijkard manages Galatasaray

Anelka, Kezman, Roberto Carlos, Stephan Appiah played for Fenerbahce.
Niang, Guiza play for Fenerbahce

John Carew, Kleberson played for Besiktas
Del Bosque managed Besiktas
Quaresma, Guti, Matteo Ferrari play for Besiktas
Bernd Schuster manages Besiktas

Vassel plays for Ankaragücü.

I think you know all of this people. Most of them are coming for money but we dont want a football country like Qatar. We want to have big success like UEFA cup for our clubs. Galatasaray did this in 2000. If Robinho comes to our team Besiktas, we want to do this again and bring the UEFA with Robbie, Q7(Quaresma) and our maestro Guti.
Not so sure about Guti and Quaresma. Quaresma had a spell at chelsea and was poor whilst Guti is old.

Robinho is top quality though. If he goes anywhere I would like him to go to a Turkish club. I like the way you support your clubs.

I'm not so sure. But they are making me sure from day to day. You should watch Besiktas-Helsinki match. You should watch that goal : <a class="postlink" href="http://soccer-portal.org/cat/goal-of-the-day/2649-ricardo-quaresma-goal-v-hjk-helsinki.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://soccer-portal.org/cat/goal-of-th ... sinki.html</a>

All our wishes are the same:) We would like him to come Besiktas.

I got it. There is so much parties in Istanbul. And most of foreign footballer lived the problem you talked about. I hope he will do samba in our stadium 'İnönü'

Dear Bigga, you should keep a closer look than you actually do. Turkish clubs' football player transfer mentality has changed since 5-10 years. And it is evolving into higher profile. Regards from Istanbul...

Bellamy
Robihno
Bojinov
Benjani
Caciedo

We have basically offloaded 5 premiership strikers... That is frightening, however we still have Tevez, Adebayor, Balotelli, Jo, Roque. Personally i would also get rid of Cruz as well, if we could get £7million for him as well as the £5 million for Bojinov and £16million (plus £10million in add on's) for Robinho then we have done great buisiness in term's of striker transfer's this summer.

Sorry, but Robinho would be laughed at, going to Turkey at this stage of his career! It makes NO sense!

Elano gets away with it as it is not the hardest league in the world, which is why Guti, Quaresma and such, go there. This is the ONLY reason I mentioned the MLS in the same way.

If Robinho went there, he would NEVER be taken seriously ever again.

He may as well bought out his contract and stayed at Santos, in fact.

No offence again.

Lyon in for him now, i think this would be the best place for us to sell him to as they have some top youngsters like Pjanic, Lacazette and Grenier. Tafer also looks very good and think we should get 1st option on these of maybe involve them in a swap deal.

I repeat that you should search about Turkey football leauge, life in Turkey. If you are playing in Brazilian league, you have no right to laugh our offer. Is it clear enough?

With respect that's because of the insular English attitude which thinks football ends at our shores.

Turkish football is not far behind the Premiership and if Robinho is playing Champions League football howcould you criticise him for taking a drop in footballing standards?

I would expect Turkish clubs and the Turkish national team to do very well
