Robinho?????

He wont go back to santos and he should stop mythering us for the chance , he says he will honour his contract then fair enough let him stay and make him fight for a place . I cant see him coming back and playing his best football , id love him to but it wnt happen , he's not our future anymore the likes of tevez and ade and silva etc are . Robinho became unsettled as when hecame to city he knew he was the main man , the one we would rely on the superstar . now we have loads of superstars and thats why he left in my opinion . But he was never the same player ever since in that game agsint arsenal 2 years ago when he fell on his ankle after that he never re discovered his good form .

No doubt Mancini needs to speak to him if for no other reason he has to name a 25 man squad, if Robbie wants to play for us no doubt a place is available but it may be at the expense of RSC, Jo, Big Phil so for me imperative we find out next week his TRUE intentions are.

I am not sure being arrested and accused of rape endeared him to England much either.

Can you imagine what that would be like if you were in Brazil and that happened to you? I'm not sure I would be too keen on going back there.

Deep down I think he has some crucial role to play in our push for CL footie, in the World Cup he showed what he can do when he is contented. I have this feeling like a niggling itch that you can't scratch. Mancini is not the same type of manager as MH, Robinho only has to look at the players we have signed this summer to see that the quality has improved, I know he and Bellars didn't get on, neither would pass the ball to one another, if Bellars leaves it opens the door again to Robinho to play as a striker across the whole of the front line, which no doubt Mancini will encourage, I for one believe he might say sorry to us fans and turn in WC performances for us again. I also believe he won't have any objection to the rotation policy of not playing against Stoke away in the middle of winter type game.

then you woke up :P

but honestly, if you does what you say, that would be fantastic!

He knows he isn't going back to Santos, he is just saying it to show his love for the club and so he won't be blamed when he returns here.

Im not convinced he was that good in the world cup, he was reasonable but I agree that he certainly looked as he was enjoying himself with people around him who made him feel comfortable. Elano was far better for me.

I think he probably burnt his bridges at City and doesnt really want to play for us, and as such we wont get the best out of him should he stay - and given the challenge of gelling all the new players sticking him in as well isnt going to work.

I can see him ending up at a cash rich mediocre European team (not sure which teams have any money) - like Besiktas/Spartak Moscow - before 1st September.

Just wondering whether our owner might be tempted to transfer him to the club in Abu Dhabi that they own so that we get our money back and in a year let him go back to Brazil?

Thats Hughes' legacy & Bellamy's MO whichever club he was at?
That sets me to thinking why Bellamy, at Home Derby in the final minute, rather than pass to Ireland or another City player nearby, chose to pump the ball for United to intercept the ball. And the numerous times that Bellamy chose to squander or shoot off-target rather than crossing or passing to our city player in a better position.
Without doubt Bellamy's performance in the second half was dire or poor under Mancini compare to his under Hughes tenure. Will it get any better?

It doesn't augurs well then if we have both in the squad.

Robinho usually will up his game against teams (CL teams etc.) that plays with finesse rather than ugly football and that will dovetails fine with Mancini's rotation policy.
