He was going too. But at the time he couldn't. He needed the other shares. He got them in the end because Fergie pissed off the Irish and they sold their shares to the GLAZERS TO TEACH FERGIE A LESSON. You know it. We all know it. Admit it.

Whether you care to admit it or not, a large part of this mess at United lies at the feet of Fergie. He thought he could take on the big boys.(in Court) He lost. United lost.
Fergie won £5 million, OK you say he lost, the so called Coolmore mafia never set foot in Trafford, they went because they was given an offer that was nearly double the investment, but go on, live this life of saying Fergie bought the end of United, after all he did for the club, put it this way, if Sir Alex blew the club up with a bomb he would still be an hero.

"Dave from Dagenham, what is your reaction to Sir Alex Ferguson blowing up Old Trafford yesterday?"

"He's a fackin diamand that cant. A hero in fact"

You're a bit weird truth be told.

Nar, just pissed.

Put it this way, if Fergie turned up at Maine rd in the 80s and turned City into a winning machine, no matter what, you would defend the Man decades later.

I actually disagree and that's where Blue and Red differ.

We call it as we see it. You call it as you're supposed to see it.

I'm from a all blue Family all from the Alex rd area, apart from my Red Uncle(he made me see the light in 67),you are saying you hated a young Ferguson after he broke the Glasgow dominance?? don't kid a kidder.

Not at all, and this is a different argument. I would NEVER argue against the man's obvious brilliance *spit* as a manager.

I'm talking about you being blind to the fact that if it wasn't for Ferguson's greed, the Glazers wouldn't own your club.

Read the post above please.

Do you really think Ferguson ended United, I think it's just a release, a get out for you, a pain release, It don't add up with the FACTS.

I support two teams in Norway, my local team which is amateurs for sure, where I also play on reserve team. Its where I was born, and theres like a few thousand inhabitants in this little town. The team is not only a football club, but an athletic\sport club. Then I also support the nearest professional(most are not payed enough to live by only football) team, which is in the 1 division. I really don't see the problem, its not like my hometown is ever gonna reach 2 division(where there are some small chances for a support club and players getting wages) or 1 division.

What's this hooter idiot on about? Fergie is far from above criticism by many/most reds. Some of us hate him for what he did re Magner/McManus & Glazer back in 2004/2005 and for his continued pro Glazer stance since then. Think hooter has got his facts badly mixed up. Is he a blue on a wind up?

-- Sat Nov 06, 2010 10:39 am --

still cant work out what happens to FCU when the Glazers are gone

United will always cost a lot of money to attend whoever are the owners. It's the sad truth of top flight football these days with the stupid salaries for the likes of Yaya Toure and Rooney. FC United will always provide an affordable alternative.

I personally couldn't comprehend wanting to switch my support to another Club regardless of how or why it formed. I've hated various City Managers and Chairmen before but I've still gone.

AFC Wimbledon had the right idea because their own Club was taken away from them. I was in Stretford a few months ago and your Ground was still there. I couldn't help but notice it.
