I reckon an average position map that season would have had Yaya further forward than Silva and Nasri/Navas. He scores the Aston Villa goal because he's the one guy left up when we're defending a set piece. Fern was basically a 1 man midfield.

Yup, totally understated that season..... his best from recollection was the 6-3 v Arsenal, he destroyed the middle of the park singlehanded!

When he has the ball they can't get it off him, his passing range is first class, and he times his tackles superbly.

What a fantastic player.
