Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

Media are loving this news. Never had so much coverage. Hope we have a superb season without Rodri (sorry mate) just to make sure the media & press are totally gutted
All the more reason why he should win Ballon D'or too.

All the best to rodri with his recovery. Won't be easy for him, mentally he will miss it so much.

Pep, get that extension signed. That arsenal game can't be the last of the two together!

Haaland would’ve probably won it when we did the treble if Messi didn’t win the World Cup
I wouldn’t even attend the ceremony if I was Rodri
Messi didn't win the WC in the season the award was issued for. Plus, when you are in a situation where an MLS player is given the award over someone utterly dominating the best competitions in the world, you may as well just give up, as corruption has won

Notice Arsenal didn’t X a get well soon since it was that game and their player.

Shithouse cunts. Really don’t want them to win the league.

Turned into right bitter cunts.

City have destroyed so many fanbases over the last 10 seasons.
It would be quite funny if in the season events conspire against us, like the Rodri injury, and stop us winning the league .. the dippers and tarquins start wetting their knickers in giddyness… only for Chelsea to come from nowhere and nick it

Without Rodri we are an excellent team. With him we are the best. Pep's extremely cautious set-up vs Newcastle felt like a tribute to Rodri's exceptional quality. The message was that we couldn't afford to play our normal, brave, dominant game without him.

Let's hope Pep will find a way to replace him. My humble guess is that we must be brave and use our best forward players instead of trying to out smart the opposition. If something works, it will be something brave and surprising, not Kova + Lewis + Gundo. That's a panic set-up.

You are gonna need to get used to a panic set up cause it will be here to stay.

The Rodri injury has fucked up our season. Without him it’s fairly obvious it’s gonna be a struggle to challenge for the PL - especially with other injuries and players showing their age.

What is likely to be Peps final season has been tossed off by Txiki decisions not to invest in the Summer. Huge risk having no back up for Rodri with big concerns over how many games older players will miss.

Would love to know why we chose to gamble in this way

Can’t plan for an ACL injury but I agree the other solutions in the midfield would only be short term fixes on the understanding Rodri would be back in time. Hasn’t worked out that way

Weird window. Felt like we are waiting for a fresh commitment from Pep or getting prepared to back the new manager next year

January signing needed now for me

I agree we have taken a chance with not having cover, but it's hard to get top level cover to sit on a bench behind Rodri, the best in the world, for all the big games.
