The one thing about it happening so early in the season is that it gives Pep time to adapt to a system without him and give us consistency, happening later on it would be harder to see what worked.

Plus we’ve barely played with him so far
I’d say if this happened round March it would be even more of a blow

What really annoys me on that clip is we could all see in SS3 the holding on Akanji BOTH times and even after talking to the players the ref did fuck all when he was held the second time.

That was a rugby tackle on Akanji. Blatant penalty.
Their defenders just looking at our players, holding them, no interest in playing the ball.
