It’s all about opinions and ultimately there’s no way of knowing but personally I’m not sure we’d have won the title last season if we hadn’t gone out of the CL. Even though we probably missed a glorious chance to win the CL I’m still far happier we retained the PL.

To be fair, Rodri could have been the difference against Spurs away. We also beat liverpool in the league, so it’s very possible we’d have beaten them again. So yes, Rodri could have made the difference in the one game needed in order for us to win the lot. It’s not that outrageous.
