Rodrygo

Still miles better
Always difficult to say really. Different styles of play, different leagues, different problems to overcome.

Rodrigo is apparently not playing in his favoured position but Savinho is also younger and perhaps has more potential to develop.

Might be interesting to compare Rodrigo with Savinho last season as both were at least playing in the same league.

It’s Savio’s first season — in a weaker City side, no less — under a manager known for being very particular about how he wants his players to play. Just curious, what are the comparison stats for the 2023/24 season? Could you please post those?for both.
Just done mate, next post :)

So for what we paid, nothing too concerning. Just people who expect perfection from everyone we sign. Must be great to have the power of prophecy and know how players will perform in different environments.

I’d imagine. And he could swap it and it could still work

This would give us much needed depth, youth and positional flexibility. Him, reijnders, a decent full back or two and I’ll stfu about wirtz
Exactly

La Liga 30 games 6 goals 5 assists
CL 12 games 5 goals 2 assists.
Total 42 games 11 goals 7 assists

Marmoush including Frankfurt
35 games 22 goals 9 assists
Marmoush has played as a central striker/attacker in the vast majority of those games.

You’re comparing apples and oranges…

Definitely a great player but i'm not sure he's a priority, and with the high wage a transfer fee I don't see this happening. Not to mention his best position is off the left, as is Doku, Marmoush and arguably Savinho.

Far better fit Morgan Rogers 29 G@A this year
Trade in Jack, John or Doku.
I'd prefer to MGW although different position and knows the club no champs league, HOMEGROWN

Not coming as he is probably out of our reach and he will watching what’s happening with us I.e wirtz and the court case and thinking to himself j can hang on at Madrid . Until this court case is sorted think we will carry on missing our targets .

I think you re right about court case. Its one thing to have been protected one way or another by a contract clause, but it matters regardless. You do not wanna be on receiving end of any judgment and being forced suddenly to search another club and as a player you just do not know whats going to happen.

Im sure its the huge issue and our status as one of the best football clubs in various areas (facilities, resources, staff, Pep etc) rescues us to a high degree, but when a player really has a choice between other top clubs (like lets say Wirtz) its just obviously a factor.

New contract talks.

Ha, i knew it

Still wanted him to join, top player
i really don't see him joining us, it's most likely a play to get a better deal for him at RM

We have goals in Marmoush, Haaland and potentially Foden coming back to his best
also rumors of Wirtz joining us would increase goals

our main issue is midfield and fullbacks this season
