But Marmoush has clearly got much more of a goal threat than him and if we're talking about RW then Phil is streets ahead (or has been and will be after a rest)

Yes, we potentially have a front 4 of Marmoush, Haa;and, Foden maybe Wirtz. Plenty of goals and creativity in that.
 
Obviously not the same type of player but looks to be an alternative to Wirtz as a high-profile forward. In a season that effectively starts in June and runs until the end of May we could easily accommodate him even with the wide options we have now, given he can play centrally as well
 
If he came probably see Doku and Jack leaving,
front 4 would be from, Marmoush, Haaland, Rodrygo, Foden, Wirtz (maybe) Echiverri, Bobb and Savinho

Maybe an alternative to Wirtz

Very interchangeable

That was an edict given by Perez. They weren't going to run afoul of their employer. Perez runs that club in a heavy-handed fashion. It would be silly to finger wave at any of their players besides Vini Jr himself.
 
i really don't see him joining us, it's most likely a play to get a better deal for him at RM

We have goals in Marmoush, Haaland and potentially Foden coming back to his best
also rumors of Wirtz joining us would increase goals

our main issue is midfield and fullbacks this season

He seems like a top player, highly rated and looks good when you see him play. No doubt he'd improve the attack.
But I'm really unsure about the strategic side of buying him.
My main problem is that it means giving real a huge amount of money.
And if they're also going for players we might be targeting, like Wirtz, that cash just makes them stronger competitors against us in the market.
Feels risky giving a direct rival that kind of financial boost. So personally, I'm not sure I'd go for him, maybe only if it was certain we couldn't get Wirtz.

It will only be lethal if they have Wirtz or Prime kdb, Gundi level midfield behind them. That's what's important, that's what we need to focus on!

Agreed. He is world-class. We have complained about significant good or very good player, but not quite the best. Well, he would be a star signing for sure, so I don't really care if we need him or not. We need end product and he has plenty of that. We know first hand, that's for sure.

Don’t need a star signing we have a few, and will buy players that become stars. What we need is a very good balanced team full of players that fit. If we buy him them Im happy to be wrong I don’t think we will though because I don’t think he or his position will be a priority this summer.

If real is looking to get rid then it won't be a lot of money.
 
Can't see this being a profile of player we'd be anywhere near imho.
