Roll call for 9 minute protest

That would be an empty threat. Let's not make the mistake thinking Soriano is anything special for City. Khaldoon and Guardiola are much more important to the club in their roles than Soriano is in his.

But yes, anybody on here who thinks Khaldoon and Guardiola get involved in the minutiae of ticketing doesn't understand their roles.
I'm not surprised Spanair collapsed. I still have nightmares about flying with them to Magaluf on a lads jolly 35 years ago!

Never mind Wolves.

if no movement needs to be done at Palace next weekend & the rearranged villa game
I think we need to see what comes out of the meeting tonight. We might not hear anything definitive either way before the Palace game, hence why there's talk of doing something for Wolves instead if we get negative info before that match.

I'm guessing the Villa game will now take place after the Wolves game as it can't take place on Monday 28th April

Palace at home before then. You would like to think the club being more transparent after the City Matters meeting today might help them from a PR/further protests view but I won't hold my breath.
I've been closer than most to the club, and the people who work there, and transparency and openness are simply alien to their corporate culture.

I stand to be corrected, but isn’t Soriano banned from being a Director or CEO in Spain, after his involvement in the collapse of an airline there. I think is was Spanair Airways.
Wasn’t she a pop singer in the 80s? Oh hang on that was Spagna….

Villa is Tuesday 22nd April now mate

What a load of shite.
They were valid scenarios.
You're basically trying to draw a line between fellow supporters here
Shameful
What's shameful are your comments. They've been nothing short of blatant wumming and I'm astonished that you can even show your face on this thread today. If anyone's been dividing the fanbase, it's the likes of you so I suggest you look a bit closer to home before pontificating about others.

Club 0 City Supporters 1.

The club need to listen. Look after the regular fans. The club need to ensure that there are enough season tickets allocated to regular attenders at a fair price which rewards loyalty. The club need to stop fixating on annual revenue per user and look after the fans that will go down fighting for this club. Hopefully the club took note yesterday. I suspect additional protests may be needed. We shall see.
And if there are fight it explicitly o nseason tickets and prices. The only thing wrong with the protest was that it was unfocused and highlighted ten ton of issues including tourists, an argument which is creating a hierarchy of City fans some of whom are worthy, some of whom are not.

There’s been a hierarchy going back to 2001 and before. The introduction of Loyalty Points was because those who put the hard yards in deserve to be ahead of those who don’t. Certainly before those who just pay a bit more or can get access to things many have spent decades building up, just by buying from a worldwide ticket tout site.

I’ve already seen some American woman on X boasting that she’s got a ticket for the Derby on Sunday, yet after decades of building up over 20,000+ points, loads of Blues can’t get a sniff.

For away games and Wembley there’s a staged criteria when people can get tickets because there’s a hierarchy. This should exist for big home games as well for me. Many Blues don’t have Season Tockets anymore simply because they’ve been priced out, yet they’ve still got loads of Loyalty Points built up since 2001. These people should be ahead of others in the queue for tickets for home games.

Many Blues who’ve been going to City for decades didn’t get a ticket for the CL semifinal against Madrid, one of the greatest nights in the club’s history, yet thousands of nobodies were there probably for their first ever live football match… that’s not right. Plus for such a limited amount of tickets we get for away games, there’s far too few going to Points holders and far too many going to people who buy them from the ticket tout sites.

On the one ticket touting site that I've checked, there are 11 separate listings flogging tickets in the away section for Sunday. Surely no proper fan is doing this, so who's tickets are they & why are they allowed to do it?

I have heard (I’m not stating this as fact, simply told by someone as third hand info) that people who work the club are told if they aren’t using or haven’t found anyone to use the tickets they are given by the club for games, to list them on Live Football Tickets.

But it makes you wonder…

When you look on that site, for the Derby on Sunday there are tickets in the away end for single seats, 2 together or ‘all together’ (however many that means) ranging from £260-520. For our final ever game at Goodison there are similar things.

When I’ve been to various grounds watching us, going back some time (as one American was stood next to my mate at Wembley for Spurs away in 2018 who paid £300 for her ticket), I’ve spoken to fans next to, in front, behind me or on the concourse and they’ve told me they’ve used these ticket tout sites to buy their tickets at these prices: some Germans at Hudds away were quite open talking about wanting City to get beat that day, they were stood next to someone on here at the time.

When we tell them tickets are capped at £30 they are sometimes in a state of shock!
