Anyone know of any decent pubs in the centre we can pop in in-bestween checking out the sight seeing stuff? Are they all extortionately priced round there?

Sounds like my mum and dad have been talking shite again? Haha

Really aka blue jambo? I would've thought it'd be pretty pricey. I'm gonna try and suss out some bars beforehand

Beer prices are between 5-7€,however some bars will up the price as they know you guys like to drink.
Irish/English bars never do that, but thats were the guys looking for trouble tend to look.
Heads up on Campo Di Fiori especially The Drunken Ship.
I've seen post here saying how great it is and cheap it is.
Yes it's cheap but why?
Full of kids between 16-23,trouble there every 2nd night not to mention it's where the
Spurs fans were are attacked last year the night before the game.
I'd rather pay a little more for drink and pay nothing for hospital bills.
Also to mention they were there to play Lazio but were attacked by Roma fans in Lazio colours trying to start the trouble.
So heads up guys on Lazio fans too, they tend to stick together on these ones.
Reality is,this game is not the 2nd game of the group stages.

Is that a pretty standard price for a pint mate or is it a bit cheaper off the main street area's we're there for 4 days seemed a shame not to have a look around Rome, Not keen on spending every night brawling but a fair few of us so will be having several beers to say the least.

Hi All

Due to large number of requests after last nights result their is a an extra bus been put on with a reduction off our original price.
16€ is the price including a welcome beer, pick up from the meeting point, escort to the stadium
and then returned to the bar safely without any hassle.
Those who have booked will only pay the difference to 16€ and not to 25€
Anyone else interested pm me.

Cheers Sean
anyone know if this is legit b4 I pay for it ?

I think you just need to read the tripadvisor reviews to answer your question fella.

Sean has also offered up plenty of info on pm's, whilst not knowing if I will book his services or not, seems a decent lad.

Thanks Sean, more than likely will see you in Rome.

Sorry if someone has already asked this earlier in the thread, but (provided Bayern beat CSKA) I was just wondering which team would go through if we got another 1-1 draw in Rome

Cheers MeatHunterrr, provided we're not lumbered with another dodgy Ref (as was the case in both Moscow games, recently)I fancy us to get, at least, a draw
