Anyone know of any decent pubs in the centre we can pop in in-bestween checking out the sight seeing stuff? Are they all extortionately priced round there?

I've seen post here saying how great it is and cheap it is.
Yes it's cheap but why?
Full of kids between 16-23,trouble there every 2nd night not to mention it's where the
Spurs fans were are attacked last year the night before the game.
I'd rather pay a little more for drink and pay nothing for hospital bills.
Also to mention they were there to play Lazio but were attacked by Roma fans in Lazio colours trying to start the trouble.
So heads up guys on Lazio fans too,they tend to stick together on these ones.
Reality is,this game is not the 2nd game of the group stages.

There will be free bus service to and from the stadium, the meeting
point will be at Villa Borghese (Piazza Delle Canestre), please see map
inside.
All transport from this area will depart under police escort at 6.30pm,
you are strongly advised to take this transport and not make your own
way to the stadium, this is for your own safety.
• Supporters will be searched and asked to show their match tickets to
board the buses.
• The police will take convoys of 8 buses to the stadium, starting at
6.30pm.
• For the return journey the police will take all public buses to the train
station, in central Rome and not to Villa Borghese.
IF YOU TRAVEL TO THE STADIUM INDEPENDENTLY PLEASE BE AWARE
YOU ARE AT RISK, FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY PLEASE DO NOT USE THE
PONTE DUCA D’AOSTA BRIDGE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE STADIUM.
If you travel to the stadium using a taxi please ask the driver to drop you

Is that a pretty standard price for a pint mate or is it a bit cheaper off the main street area's we're there for 4 days seemed a shame not to have a look around Rome, Not keen on spending every night brawling but a fair few of us so will be having several beers to say the least.

If you get to some of the smaller Italian bars off the tourist streets you can lucky sometimes.

Hi All

Due to large number of requests after last nights result their is a an extra bus been put on with a reduction off our original price.
16€ is the price including a welcome beer,pick up from the meeting point,escort to the stadium
and then returned to the bar safely without any hassle.
Those who have booked will only pay the difference to 16€ and not to 25€
Anyone else interested pm me.
