Kev was much younger, with a manager who didnt rate him at Chelsea so that argument doesnt stand up. I cant believe City fans want this clumsy lump up front for us. The PL is much harder than the Italian league.
There is no league as competitive as the PL, that is indisputable. That doesn’t stop me from having a brain and being able to think. I can look at a player, see how they behave in a game, around his teammates, around different oppositions, and weighing how they would fit elsewhere. I do this all the time watching players here in the Brazilian and Argentinian leagues and South American cups. Or else we could just never sign anyone who’s never played in the PL before. You go to the Messi thread and people ask, Would he adapt to the PL?!?! The best player in the world!! They do this even now with Sergio Ramos, one of the best CBs in the world this century. I can’t tell if it’s insanity or arrogance. Lukaku was being managed by Conte at Inter, a manager who has won the PL, in a team that wasn’t by any means considered the frontrunner for the title when that league started. And for all the talk about how “weak” Serie A is, the almighty Juventus almost didn’t qualify for the Champions League.. they got to the final game of the season depending on a result from another team to make it. Lots of tactically very good managers work there. We are possibly looking to sign a DM from the 8th place team there.

what on earth... i swear to god what games are people even watching? he did amazingly in both goals, clumsy? barely any of our players would have made more out of this situation with their back to goal
Are you Belgian, or just related to Lukaku? ..he accelerated a little and managed to just about cut it back to Kev, who then produced the magic! Suggesting few of our players could do what he did, I can only assume you don’t watch us?! Also he didn’t have his back to goal?? ..he is a lump and an ex rag lump to boot!
