RAG LUMP
Therein lies your problem you can't see past that fact
nope, ive given you and others reasons for me not wanting him, namely his average premeirship record. Hes not even in the PL top twenty goal strickers is he, Go on name your best ever PL strikers, he doesnt come anywhere near the top, hes an also ran and yet you and others want him in the best PL side ever.???

He has a couple of decent seasons in a bang average Italian league and you and others all of a sudden think he will be our saviour back in the PL, a place hes never really shone.

The Rag lump is just the crap icing on the cake for me, when he played for them he was overweight and had a touch like a trampoline.

I get what you are saying mate BUT he is not overweight and doesn't play for the shite anymore.
He is a much improved player and has far more to his game than I ever thought.
Not that I particularly want him at city he is now a different player to when he played for that scum

I remember Lukaku when he was at the age Haaland is. A kid back than but an absolute powerhouse. He still is. And with his confidence back. I think Lukaku is the prime exemple of how poor the managers at the rags have been this past decade. Long may it continue.

As for Lukaku at City right now? I’d say no. Kane is a better fit (money aside) and Haaland can be developed as a CF that would actually fit our style.
But it would be nice to see Lukaku being successful with us where he failed at the rags.

maybe, but would you not agree that great strikers are usually great everywhere they play. they dont let themselves go, they keep fit and they dont have a few good seasons interspersed with some poor ones. Just my opinion but I would prefer Kane over Lukaku and Harland just over Kane.

Don’t worry, if he came to Manchester he’ll soon be back on the steak pudding chips peas and gravy, sticky toffee pudding and custard and be three stone overweight before you know it.

Dont think many of us like ex-Rag players in a blue shirt Schmeicel , Cole and others never did sit right with me watching Rag rejects in our shirt , but take the hate out of the eqaution and Lukaku is a decent striker and his goals record excellent in the Premier league and Serie A he also scores frequently for his national team.
He wouldnt be a regular starter with Pep's rotation but he would score 30 goals with his eyes shut with the amount of chances we create , would prefer Haalland but £150m and£500k a week is distasteful in the current economic climate.
what about Tevez.

Would prefer Haaland or Kane, but would be happy enough with Lukaku as well. He’s a top striker and would be a real asset for us. Would have a point to prove to United too. Think he’s pretty happy at Inter though.

Lukaku is one of those strikers that will always split opinion. He goes from one extreme to the other, sometimes in a matter of seconds. If he rocked up at City, I expect he would have a similar thread to Sterling. Some would bemoan his bad touch, his poor ball retention etc. Others would point to the fact he has just scored 30 goals and is the Prems top goal scorer.

For me, in the list of the 3 main striker options, he would be bottom of my list but its not a bad list to come 3rd on. If its a choice between Lukaku and either someone like Ings, or another season of playing no real striker, then get Lukaku signed up.

Rodri is more suited as a center half for me, he is better with the game all infront of him, as a midfielder I don’t think he is industrial enough and gets caught out in and out of position to much for my liking, I seen him play centre half at Crystal Palace and thought he was excellent, he looked like pique at centre half that day,
Too slow for me and doesn’t read the game well enough. I think he’s a decent CM nothing special but I think he’d be a less than decent CB
