He used to be at the very top of my "people I'd like to slap" list, but there's no denying the quality. There's not many players I'd agree to put straight into the first 11 with no questions, but on ability alone he's right up there. If he signed, you'd have to gauge him as a person on the way he carried himself wearing our shirt I suppose.

I think this is very unlikely, but we'll have to see. Either way, I love reading transfer speculation, always interesting to ponder the future even if it is all nonsense...

Probably worth paying £100million for. It seems obscene but you get the CR7 brand and huge commercial revenue with it. I'm not sure we could make it back like Real Madrid do as we don't have anything close to their support but it'd help the Manchester City brand grow tremendously.
