Because he's widely considered to be one of the best young talents in Europe? Because he's proven that he's capable of playing first team football, has looked completely at home whenever he's played for us and has done just about everything possible to earn a chance? It's piss easy to make excuses to not give young players a chance, but that's all they are, excuses. He has done more than enough to deserve a chance to prove himself and if we don't give him a chance then it would raise a serious question as to what a player has to do to even get a chance, especially when we have players playing regularly who are far from undroppable. Why does lopes deserve to get in the first team?
Why has Denyer signed a new contract why has Roberts signed etc ?
He would be a much better option than navas this season
I agree with you on that. The likes of Iheanacho, Denayer, Garcia, and Roberts seem to have impressed Pellegrini more.
I'd be very disappointed if we sold Lopes, especially just days after "promoting" him to the first team.
Another loan would make more sense, as I think he'll have limited opportunities if/when we sign De Bruyne. Personally I'd rather sell Nasri and give Lopes a chance.
I don't think Nasri will be far down the order.Completely agree I think having Nasri so far down the pecking order will be bad for the dressing room.
