Fearful Rony could be off. I understand if he wants to leave if we can't offer him genuine first team football this season, but we should still try and make him feel loved and tell him he's the future, and Navas will be gone at the end of the season.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think there's a very good chance Rony will end-up being a superior player to Navas, so to lose him permanently just for the sake of giving Navas probably 1 more season would be foolish indeed, when he has potentially 10+ years to offer us, is HG, and has been at the club since 15 y/o.

Being totally objective, a loan is definitely the best thing for his personal development, he's still quite rash with his decision making, and only started around 50% of Lille's game due to injury. A loan at one of Europe's big boys in the CL/EL would be great, not sure it'll happen though. Let's see.

The lad has just been promoted to the first team squad so I don't think the club will be letting him leave anytime soon. If he's got ideas on leaving to get first team football I would say that's the wrong move atm. He has the opportunity right now of training every day with some of the very best players in europe & trying to force his way into the starting eleven or going to a middle of the table European team.

Last year on his contract and a long way off a regular starter so we need to be objective. If he won't sign then there is no point in keeping him and we are best getting what we can. We can't keep them all.

If Pellegrini won't give Kelechi 10 mins when we're 3-0 up and cruising against West Brom, then the chance of Lopes getting any decent game time ahead of Silva, Sterling, Nasri, Navas and possibly De Bruyne is very slim, don't blame him for wanting to go.

Especially in his age, he needs to play as often as possible. So either loan or permanent sale, sadly. Can't see him sticking around just as a squad player, especially with our wing/AM positions completely stacked.

This whole "we were 3-0, give the kids a go" attitude is one which ignores the stage of the season we're at. We've got Chelsea up next, and the likes of Aguero and Demichelis, both of whom have a decent shot at starting next week, haven't kicked a ball in anger for City since last season. It was far more important to give them some gametime than it was to throw Iheanacho on for 15 minutes in a game we'd already won. He'd benefit very little from it in the long term.

I'd like to see him stay at the club, and given a chance to see if he can be good enough for us, but he's got to realise the quality of player at our disposal is higher than at most clubs in the world, and as such his gametime at City will be affected.

I imagine his thinking was more that Aguero has missed a big part of pre season and with Chelsea coming up on Sunday, it was considered beneficial to give him a run out and sharpen him up for that game. That would be a more of a priority than giving the youth player a run out at this point in the season.

Sterling was playing wide of a front 3, Iheancaho would be far more suited to play centrally, however that's where Bony was playing, and where we intended on playing Aguero when he came on. If we'd have Bony and Iheanacho on the pitch together, then Aguero and Iheanacho later on, we'd have needed to adjust the formation, or else play someone in a position not best suited to them. Playing Iheanacho in an unfamiliar position could have done more harm than good to his confidence. Nasri was better suited to the position we needed to fill when Sterling was removed.
