Fearful Rony could be off. I understand if he wants to leave if we can't offer him genuine first team football this season, but we should still try and make him feel loved and tell him he's the future, and Navas will be gone at the end of the season.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I think there's a very good chance Rony will end-up being a superior player to Navas, so to lose him permanently just for the sake of giving Navas probably 1 more season would be foolish indeed, when he has potentially 10+ years to offer us, is HG, and has been at the club since 15 y/o.
Being totally objective, a loan is definitely the best thing for his personal development, he's still quite rash with his decision making, and only started around 50% of Lille's game due to injury. A loan at one of Europe's big boys in the CL/EL would be great, not sure it'll happen though. Let's see.
