No decision due till tomorrow according to talksport.

the hearing is today therefore the decision has to be today. sounds like more poor reporting from talkshite.

May still be poor reporting, but it was also on radio five live, decision today, announced Thurs.

No need to take the fucking piss pal,it just pisses me off that there are so many on here thinking the know wots gonna happen and cant prove why??
Not that i know but how can he not get the ban that he been charged??

There is no way on earth that this appeal would have been lodged if the Utd lawyers who advise on these matters didn't think there was a good chance of it succeeding. Think Cleavers has it bang on with a 1 game ban to be honest.

Yeah their lawyers were right when Ferdy got banned and they appealed. Oh hang on....

-- Wed Apr 06, 2011 11:35 am --

I don't think they can up it, because he has accepted the charge so there is no frivolous appeal being made. Rooney is appealing the length of the ban, which the FA will reject and uphold the original ban dished out.
Incorrect, it can still be judged as frivolous mate. Check the FA website.

If they leave the decision tomorrow then he can play against fulham as they get 3 days notice of retrospective bans.
Decision is today, announcement tomorrow. Can only imagine its so Chelsea don't goad him tonight.

I gather the rags will be told the decision today, and will then have to decide whether to tell the fat headed chump before tonight's game. Out of 'respect', the FA will not publicly announce the decision until tonight's game is out of the way - maybe late tonight, maybe tomorrow.

For the purposes of any ban, the clock will start today.

whatever ban, is served on the loathsome, despicable piece of slime, it wont be long enough, for many including myself.

I would prefer him to play, and play badly so they have no excuses when we defeat them soundly.

I don't get this - I would prefer him not to play, as this would improve our chances of winning.

Having an excuse will be cold comfort for the rags if we do them next weekend - the result is all that matters.
