Yeah it's the poll thread, although it's now shifted just in favour of the nay-sayers.

Carlos has performed better for us over the past calendar year than Rooney has for United, he's absolutely carried us lately in some ways to be honest.

Rooney coming, a very similar player, and one who would suddenly change Tevez's ''position'' at the club rather than just in the team, could upset all that.

I think that's what the nay-sayers are getting at when they say they don't want Rooney for footballing reasons, it's not just a case of his comparative ability to what we've already got.

Personally I don't feel there's much in it between Tevez and Rooney ability-wise and I feel that if Carlitos was English, that would be the overriding mood throughout the country too. But that's just me.

Did Tevez/Rooney play well upfront together at United?

If i had to pick between the two i'd go for Tevez any day of the week. No doubting Rooney's class one bit, however i just don't trust the guy!

To be fair and not just saying this cause im a dye hard blue,

i would think if you did a poll amongst football fans of every club in the prem and asked them who they would rather have at this moment in time i would have thought 80% if not higher would want OUR carlito,

cause on current form even you have to admit as a red,rag that he is streets ahead at the moment,

but some of the crap that is being spouted on that rag cafe is quite unbelievable at the moment,could you just answer me this as a red why are you so delusional to think Rooney wont come here,you still think we are this club that you can mock and laugh at,now you know deep down this ain't the case anymore,because if we were all being honest you would have to admit that player for player we are far superior to you now and its only gonna get worse.

Every newspaper and media outlet in the country has been told by Rooney's people that he wants out.
If you think this is just another player trying to bump his wage up you're in for a shock.
Personally I don't want him but I think he'll be a City player in January. He certainly won't be at United.

As for cringeworthy you should look at your own forums. He's gone from best player in the world to ginger has been in one day.

Rags being hypocrites eh, who'd a thought it?
