Rooney (MERGED)

They won't sell him to us... can see him going to Real Madrid

Have you understood nothing these last couple of days?

Rooney decides where he goes, baconface and the rags have little or no say in anything to do with Rooney now.

All they can do is hold on to him... and let him leave on a free.

Otherwise they have to sell... and who are the only realistic bidders?

Wake up mate, you're looking foolish.

Didnt see that coming at all. Never seen slur alex like that before, he looked like he had given up.

I think with the hooker stuff and the England troubles he may want to leave the country, i think Real Madrid have to be the favourites, with fergie pretty much putting a for sale sign on him they will change their tune.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

This is funny as fuck.

I'd really hate to see the cretin sign for us, but this really is beyond hilarious.

If I'm wrong and we sign him then great, however I see this as being quite different to the signing of Tevez. It will be very difficult for Rooney to move across the City to COMS, Fergie will fight it for as long as possible, the rag loving media will make it difficult too. Rooney will be portrayed as greedy. Our main strength here is geographical location, Rooney has family in the north west, and his wife does too (including a sick sister I believe). Without those ties I'd have Chelsea as overwhelming favourites as Rooney would be the perfect Drogba replacement.

He may end up at City, but I'd still have signing a new United contract as the bookies favourite (not that I'm a betting man).

I might be wrong and this is just guess work going off certain comments on here of late but his wife is driving this i believe. The fact we offer the best wages, the best future and the chance to remain in the North West(important for Coleen) gives us a very good chance i'd say.

I agree with his wife driving this, she could well be blaming united players for leading him astray, she won't want him at Chelsea because of terry and cole, doesn't want to move abroad because of her sister so who does that leave?
