Yeah hes behaved like a cnut to united but just because he wants to leave that doesnt make him a shit player.

And for god sake just get used to it.

I said last night that i can guarentee Rooney will be a city player come the end of January and some people said he wouldnt even leave united. Well they have got egg on their faces now and when he joins us a lot of other people will have egg on their faces aswell

Been pmsl for an hour now. Any player that brings baconface that close to tears is a potential city hero in my eyes. I'll welcome shrek with open arms.

Can't face looking around a United forum, but the big surprise for me is in the comments sections of various newspapers. Most rags are really critical of Rooney and many are suggesting he's past it. "Third Choice striker" keeps coming up.

He was one of the top players in the World, got injured last Spring and has struggled since, probably because he didn't get any rest in the summer. Maybe it says something about the people who comment on newspaper sites (and forums), but it's a sad sight.
