He's a quality player though ... capable , normally , of scorin' a sackful of goals , and it's hard to think that he wouldn't improve us ..... you could hardly blame City if they WERE interested .

He may be a rag, he may be a class A twunt, but he's also a world class player!
We wouldn't just be signing a player. Just think what it would do for the club on a wider scale. Shirt sales around the world would go through the roof, as would sponsorship deals! Plus the damage this would do to the rags would be huge. Not only would they lose their only world class player, it would also completly fuck them up financially! Even more! Haha this is amazing and im praying it comes off!

yes we all want what's best for the club. Keeping Carlos happy is one. One thing OP, we all want the best for the club, and on more levels than just the playing field, signing Rooney is best for the club. If you don't want the best for the club, carry on. I do though, and thats why signing Rooney is something I want to happen.

I hope MUEN poster Santiago Street doesn't mind me quoting him here
for purely footballing reasons we should forget it.
He's been playing regularly since he was 16 so he may be one of these guys who burn out in their mid 20s. He's not a natural athlete and as he gets older he'll get even heavier and more prone to joint injuries.
