Even if we did bid, offered an identical package, paid all the agent fees, etc, put yourself in his shoes..

Do you go and work under Pellegrini, across town, a place that openly despises everything about you and is already so full of idolised stars like Aguero you'd never become what you were at the Rags..

Or go and work under Mourinho at Chelsea, bona fide star of the team, easily pushing Torres to the bench, nothing like the rivalry we have and thus far easier to assimilate into the club, bigger City full of far more grannies of many more nationalities..

Good player, dubious character. The main issue I'd have though is the fact we would be giving them 20 odd million quid plus wages to spend on a younger player who could give them far longer service than an ageing rooney. At least with the tevez deal we bought him off a third part so the swamp dwellers won't of seen to much of the cash. Wouldn't give them the steam off my piss......

as a player i would take him, but his attitude is the issue, after 6 months will the rumours start of wanting more cash or hes off.
taking all in to account, he would be more trouble than hes worth, but if got him on the cheap, then y not.

I don't want the horrible **** anywhere near the club, but you're well wide of the mark if you think he wouldn't come here. He's just as spiteful and obnoxious as bacon face, and he detests Moyes. The rag fans have turned on him too, so I wouldn't put it past him to not only come here but actually want to. He wouldn't have to move, his family and friends would still be close, and it would piss bacon face and Gollum off no end.

I can't for the life of me believe ghat we would be remotely interestedcin him, if the stories are true about how close we came to signing him a few years ago only for it to fall through, I can't see us putting ourselves in the same position again.

I would come out publically and say we have no interest in him hopefully he fucks off somewhere where I dont have to see his fat face every weekend.
