robinho aint going nowhere, and i think RSC is back today according to SSN
Haven't turned on SSN today, but I was under the impression that he was due to arrive this weekend for a medical. Think that was in the MEN

I als believe that he and Bellamy have very similar injuries - patellar tendonitis in the case of Bellamy, which is damage to the fibres which attach the knee-cap to the shin bone. We are told that RSC also has tendonitis. There are two tendons in the knee. The patellar tendon which attaches the kneecap to the shin, and the quadriceps tendon which attaches the thigh muscles to the kneecap. So Citys physios should be experts in this field by now!

The trouble with these injuries is that after rest they settle down, and all willl look clear on a medical, but then after a period of training, they will crop up again, and the injury has to be managed, ie the player has to live with it.

It's just a case of managing the pain. The tendon can weaken and rupture, and also the discomfort prevents the player from being 100% fit. Common injury......see Rafa Nadal

i think owen hargreaves has this injury as well.

I think Own Hargreaves injury is much more severe and involves something to do with his bones or something.
