Roque Santa Cruz [merged]

Delighted about this signing now. I've really warmed to the idea of Roque in a City shirt. In the last 12 months, he must have intimated at least 10 times that he wants to play for City, and Mark Hughes in particular. He's desperate to play for us for all the right reasons, so bring it on! Can't wait to see Fat Sam's face when he bags a couple on the opening day of the season.

Also, Santa Cruz loves Mark Hughes - he needs all the allies he can get in the dressing room, especially if Jo and Elano stay!

I think it's pretty clear that they won't be here, I guess what will end up happening is that is he proves a bust then Hughes is much less likely to keep he job, because its doubtful we can finish top6 without a striker that knocks in 15 to 20 goals.

This is the official MCFC twitter acct.. so if they're saying he's signing right now.. i figure we can expect this to be official fairly quickly.. seeing as how this can be considered an official media outlet of the club//ie.. the club website, etc etc..
