yes it was, fucking discraceful decision as well which turned the game. Great goal from rosler though
 
it was a riduclous penalty decision , it was the norm for the red scummy shite, thats how they get goals when the going gets tough, ..refer to last rag match versus fulham .. they make me fucking sick, always have done
 
Went to the game and remember the goal celebration in our end was brilliant. Took me a long time to get over the penalty decision that totally turned the game. Our players knew after it was given that they were never going to be allowed to win.
 
Yes, was at the game, took me a while to get over that penalty decision. Watching it back on youtube also, reinforces how I felt at the time. It was a ridiculous decision by a piss pot referee. Also, if we put it into context of what goes on in the box today, players throwing each other to the ground, i.e. Carvalho etc, which is rarely if at all ever penalised, Fronzteck's phantom pull was a fart compared to those rather large turds
 
I can't believe this was 14 and a half years ago- where has the time gone?

I too still feel pissed off about that penalty decision right before half-time. Would've been a different game with a stronger referee.

If I remember rightly is this the game where "hardman" Keane was bullying Michael Brown all game, then Niall Quinn decided enough was enough & went eye-ball to eye-ball with the prick?
