Ross Barkley

we need to go and get this kid can't let him go to rags or chelsea offer them the money they want and get him

He has got potential but I will let him carry on with his development at Everton. Besides we have got to start producing our own Ross Barkley.

Agreed, although if we lose Lescott, Barry AND Sinclair in the summer (highly likely) then we will need more English/home grown players.

He does look a very good player mind, but where would he fit in?

He is at the age where he has to be playing more regularly, and to be honest I am unsure where he can fit in our side. Good point about the home-grown quota though, hopefully we have a few players that can fill the vacant slots.

Rate him but we shouldn't make a move for him unless we sell Rodwell and/or Garcia and even then it still may not be a good move he is playing well and has a lot of potential but will need plenty of game to continue to improve and if we had a fully fit team would he get starting? As for losing Lescott will Rekik count as home grown next year? As Barry and Sinclair weren't part of our squad this year I don't think they counted towards our total in the home grown criteria.

If we let him end up at one of our rivals,it would amount to a huge regret, we must move as early as possible Everton will sell at the right price,he will end up being a top teams Talisman, bigger than Rooney.

I hope it's no where near the swamp, now that would be a killer blow, reminded me today against Swansea of balotelli, but obviously more disciplined.

Maintaining current form, young player of the year beckons,£30 million may well be the price to pay,if he hasn't got a bad injury record it may well be money well invested in him being only 20 years of age.

Buy him and loan him back for a season, this will allow to continue is development playing week in week out under a good footballing manager whilst having tied down as a city player

Could we buy him & loan him back to Everton for a season?

This would help him get more game time and to develop further.

Do Everton need to sell? IMO they don't, they stole 27.5m off the rags for Fellaini. Why sell in January when they have as much a chance of finishing top four as anyone else in the top seven. Has this lad actually stated he wants to move or is his agent pushing for a move away.
