Ross Barkley

He is still young and a little inconsistent, but the boy has real talent.

Just watch the game against Everton away again. That is what he's capable of.

I can see the comparisons with Gazza. Big strong lad, but quick as anyone. He glides past players like they're not even there and is comfortable with either foot.

He receives the ball as well as anyone in this country since Paul Scholes.

If our central midfield options were Fernandinho, Fernando, Barkley and Javi Garcia next season, I'd be delighted.

I would be even more delighted if you replaced Garcia with Yaya

I think we should sell one of our strikers and get Barkley. Starting the season with fernando, fernandinho, yaya and Barkley would be brilliant. Question marks weather yaya is going to be here it or not though, needs to sort that agent out if he's staying. Which striker do you sacrifice to bring in Barkley?

Teams can find an equivalent player on the continent at a lot cheaper price.

I think the better question is which of those four midfielders you want to play up front when you discover that going into a long season with only three injury prone strikers is a bit risky...

I think Pelle loves having 4 strikers, selling a striker to get more midfielders?, i just don't see it.
He likes balance so it would be a midfielder out and one in i reckon.

Seriously whoever buys this kid has a star for the next 10 years minimum. Let Yaya go and have his cake elsewhere and use cash for Barkley.

Could Barry & Milner be used to get Barkley?

Barkley has a fantastic future. Would love it if it was with City.

Pay this lad whatever he wants, I haven't seen this much raw talent in a lad for a long time.

He would be the perfect natural replacement for Yaya whenever he decides to leave.

This is what i dislike about the Brits. you guys always hype British talent up when in actual fact we know they are utter crap. Barkley this, Barkley that, he has just a single season of good football under his belt. Why not wait till he proves himself another year and see exactly what he is made off rather than purchase him and then regret it after a season. stop the hype.
