Ross Barkley

The best place for him at the moment is at a club like Everton. With an incredible manager like Roberto M who is happy to take a risk and invest in young talent he will do well.

Trust me though, I am an FA licensed coach (If this backs up my claim one iota) but in terms of pure talent, Ross Barkley is head and shoulders up there in his generation. We have not had an english player that gifted since Gascoigne.

Not worth the fee Everton are asking for. Wait and see on how he does in his second season at Everton,

And if he gets better then he'll cost more because they'll be even more clubs in for him,...... !

Football in this country is never at all realistic in terms of hype and valuation of British Talent.

I just hope when he is up for grabs,we're at the front of the queue.

He ticks so many boxes,he'd be worth that bit extra needed.

According to some ITKs in twitter, Chelsea will make a bid for him.

Chelsea seems to avoid the bidding part, at least publicly. Often we just see, as in the case with Costa just this evening, Chelsea paying probably the asked fee. They always do their business early and quickly.
So if Barkley is for sale, Chelsea will get him if they really want him.

Yep, Abramovich is not messing around. If he really wants a player, than it's almost as good as signed.

Absolutely. As with David Silva in 2010.

Chelsea were also heavily linked with Kun but didn't make a move once we moved in.

Not sure why we're messing about with Fernando given that he recently signed a new deal at Porto and will now cost us a big fat transfer fee. Would far rather we went all out to get Barkley, regardless of cost. Letting him go to a rival club like Chelsea or the rags would be a huge mistake. He's the must have signing of the summer for me.
