He was working for one of Franny Lee's companies in the Children's Playground industry a few years ago. Alongside an ex-Arsenal player - might have been Perry Groves.

One thing I've noticed regarding a few of Roy's tweets"

He's deffo no fan of Peter Reid/Sam Ellis.

Wonder what happened there??

says it all!

But it was Swales who sacked Reid, not Lee, so we don't know Lee's opinion of Reid/Ellis

I just get the impression that Roy Bailey dislikes the pair for something (some things??) that he encountered with them while they were in charge

i don't know it might be bullshit but apparantly reid and ellis had a go at ian brightwell at half time during some game and apparantly ellis has twatted brightwell............i think ellis got sacked within days, reid couldn't cope without ellis, and either he got sacked at the end of the season (after finishing 5th) or walked in protest.

like i say it might be bullshit.

But then it may not be!!

I always remember reading an article years ago (can't remember who wrote it) stating that fans should never be under the illusion that a football club is one big happy family - it is the same as any other working environment where some get on better than others, some don't get on, there is envy sometimes over the difference in wages, but what really matters is that the players are all professional and put aside their feelings once they step onto the pitch.

I cannot remember when Ellis left, but I remember Reid getting sacked early into the season, as you say after finishing 5th the season before!!

Off the subject, I've had a couple of tweeted conversations with Reid and he praised City both times and slagged off Peter Swales both times!! (Reid also stated that Paul Lake was the best player he ever managed)

Back on subject, Roy Bailey is the first person I think of when I think of "City's physio" I hope he gets well soon regarding his knee op and I don't know how connected with the club he is these days, but if he were to release a book regarding his time at City........

.......it would be a great read I'm sure!!

he might of done, maybe ellis was barred from the dressing room or maybe suspended but i think this might answer questions about him not liking swales.

i am not interested in fanny lee's opinion about city in anything after he left the club as a player.

if colin wasn't king franny lee would of been.

funny isn't it, no-one's really got a good word to say about him.

swales might of appeared to of been a ****, maybe he might of been but he always tried to give the supporters what they wanted.

I don't get what Franny has to do with Reid and Ellis.

Reid and Ellis were sacked by PJ, which IIRC, was the catalyst for Franny to get involved and eventually forced Swales to sell.

And don't you think that Franny always had the best interests of the club and its supporters at the forefront of his concerns.

I do.

I do.

its just that someone asked before they would of liked to of heard of lee's opinion of reid and ellis.

it got a bit tangled up.

i just think after the swales out campaign, lee was a bitter disappointment.

and then looking back, really felt sorry for swales.
