He used an analogy where a black player is the monkey. Do I really need to go into the history of black people being discriminated against on the false basis that they were genetically inferior, thus being labelled as monkeys and having bananas thrown at them? In a society were you cannot look the wrong way without offending somebody, were a lollipop man left his job because he had a warning from the council about high 5ing kids as they crossed the road.

Think he just wanted to animate his statement by saying feed the [any animal].
Say monkey to a coloured person and ears will certainly perk, I agree.

I think i get this. He is trying to motivate tham by basically saying your only in the team to make up the numbers and to get rid of the ball to Andros "Messi" Townsend. Great motivation, not.
