Laporte is far from being quick but he is very savvy in his positioning.

As long as Dias is equally savvy, we will have a much more reliable rearguard.

Hopefully Fern's legs in midfield can last long enough to give us a decent platform until Christmas.
The underlying thing is that Dias is not slow and I'm not sure why there's this myth that he is

Thing is Braff aint even training with the first team according to the MUEN - said it in a piece they did pre Bounrmouth game when talking about players from the reserves that could start
Lots of people rave about him (Ive no idea if he is good enough tbh) - but the others like delap and doyle are clearly a step ahead of him if its true.

Wonder what Peps hesitancy is with Braff if he aint training with the first team considering the need for wide players
Probably Braaf s injury...

That's not how it works ffs. What we pay is what we pay. We pay 55+otamendi. That doesn't make it 75m.
Of course it makes. We are not just paying €75m in cash. But the deal is worth €75m if Benfica are mugs enough to value him at €20m. (though Mendes might be forcing Benfica to accept that or otherwise no talent for cheap..)

The benefit comes from amortisation as his charge will be amortised based on the €55m fee rather than €75m.
