So let me get this straight. You don't believe we were even in for KK but somehow you kept on posting in the KK transfer thread. Riight.Based on twatter we were
It’s literally being confirmed by people with contacts at the club that it’s done. The “Twitter rumours” are twitter facts. Press in Portugal broke it and they are the source of these Twitter facts.who says we are signing him ???
people need to Stop wetting the bed over these Twitter rumours ?
Fair enough.Mate, read the post I quoted. When I said that I couldn't believe we would act in such a reckless fashion, I was responding to domalino's theory that it seemed like we were only signing him to get rid of otamendi. I then argued the reasons why we might want to sign Dias! I was baffled by it because he hadn't been mentioned all summer. This news came as a surprise to everyone.
Mahrez has been a success I'd say, twitter perception would make him look like he's Foden a couple years back knocking on the door for first team minutes. He struggles vs sides that sit back and shines vs sides that play expansive football, his stats last year explain themselves, he was good. All the money spent and we still have question marks over Mendy, Mahrez, Gundogan, Otamendi (looks like he's going), Cancello, etc. Not great scouting.
Defenders from Portugal haven't tended to do well.
Feel like we're going for this guy because he's cheaper than the rest.
It could be that Benfica have a more professional chairman who doesn't play to the media in the same way we don't. We will never know when discussions began with Benfica because everything is kept behind closed doors.Based on the quotes by their teams chairmen?
Yes I watched him (and liked him) before he moved to United and they both give off the same vibes..yes,Dias has the better physical attributes and is more of a leader but in terms of loosing concentration and ball watching, they are very similar..Lindelof was decent in Liga NOS but has struggled at United so it's natural to be worried for Dias..Only hope is that he can rekindle his form from the Nations League Finals,Lindelof was at Benfica yes, but him and Dias are entirely different kind of players.
And did the club tell you this or have you been watching to much of them fools on Sky Sports transfer talk ??
Nobody bar City officials know who the main target is or who we are bidding for. Let’s just wait and see who comes in and give them the backing they need to start their new career here.
