Never really kicked on from a great start at Wolves. Maybe a little too slow and playing in Saudi wouldn't have improved him much. Give this one a swerve.

Think he was always a better fit for a team like City than Wolves. Against stubborn defences, seems that his skillset makes sense in terms of replacing Rodri while obviously not making up for the defensive issues.

I agree but just don't see the real star quality any more. He'll be 28 by the end of the season and think we need more youth also.

Agreed but I think in terms of replacing Rodri for the next year or so it makes perfect sense. We really lack a long passer and there's no way teams don't press Neves if he's near the edge of the box. He's genuinely one of the best passers around.

Also, out for a month with a knee injury. Dont think this rumour will go anywhere, cant even find the report.

I’d take him in January. We need a midfielder in the winter market and Neves would do as stop gap.

Another signing like Kovacic, quality, ready made and fairly reasonable, a no brainer.

As long as in the summer are major signings are high class, young and hungry to compliment.
