As expected, all smoke and mirrors.

You have not got a clue - so you go on line - find 3 negative articles and use a stupid phrase. As suspected you are utterly clueless on this subject and would vote for a pig in Red. Can see why Chippy despairs with you now.

You are confusing pledges, good intentions and activity with effect.

The Tory government will not solve the housing crises, because they have no intention of doing so. Milestones of 200,000 this or 217,000 that, in isolation, are meaningless.

In any problem solving you lay out what the problem is, put simply what level of house building do we need to solve the housing crises, how long will it take to build, how much will it cost, who pays for it, what do we build, where do we build and who builds it.

It's called a plan for housing, we don't have one, so all this activity might dent the problem but little else, it's noises off. The government can't be seen to do nothing, so it must be seen to do something.

No one believes that anything this government is doing comes close to solving this problem.

''Freed from the shackles of public sector bureaucracy..''

Things like rules and regulations on safety for example.

You think that relates to Health and Safety at work? Do you honestly?

Are you aware of what you have just implied?

Do you think Mr Javid just says go and build that house - hurry up and don't wear your hard hat because we need houses quicker?

I honestly despair.

Yeah because on non EU immigration which we do control we are doing such a bang up job the Home Sec was obliged to resign.

What makes anyone think that Post Brexit .....

1) Illegal immigrants will stop arriving?
2) People from the commonwealth will stop arriving?

Cos Group4Security (Border Force)are doing such a wonderful job at the moment..

A very Tory decision to give the job to a minority in the hope it’ll all blow over by doing so.
