Salford v Catalans would have been the best game to have on because both teams have something to aim for.

Leigh are already in the Play-offs so doesn’t matter to them if they win or lose tonight.

Better still they should have a few of the games on across Main Event, Arena, Action and Mix. What else have Sky got on tonight that’s more important than the RL?

Yet, bizarrely, Sky have got Leigh v Wigan on Main Event and on Arena… bloody stupid! Not everyone wants to watch the game from the Scab Borough.

Just read that Wigan academy have been penalised from reaching the final for too many interchanges in the semi final.

It wasn’t a mistake either by having, say, 9 interchanges (an extra one) in an honest error; they made 12 interchanges.

Their penalty is that they’ve been banned from playing in the GF.

Epic night at Leigh Sports Village , record attendance packed to the rafters and Wigan fans had half the stadium. Idiots saying Leigh had nothing to play for Leigh gave everything and more . Fabulous celebrations inside and outside the ground and the pub outside the ground ( wrecking wren ???) still packed at midnight. Fabulous fabulous rugby league night in Wigan Metropolitan Borough.

Harsh for the players but entirely the right decision, 12 does sound like they were either taking the piss or something bizarre happened. Either way that represents a material advantage gained outside the laws

Why do people make this sort of stuff up? You do know we all saw it on the tele don’t you?

Wigan had the usual away end that had empty seats in the top right corner and a bit in the stand where the cameras were.
