Congratulations to the Wire. Great defence and took the few chances clinically. Saint bottled it and weren’t helped a certain score in the opening minutes being denied. That said, WIre had a good shout for a try disallowed in the 2nd half and the ref repeatedly refused to ping defenders on both sides blocking the kick chase.

Warrington in good voice at Euston just now. Having been to see a jolly, jolly good performance at Twickers however, I’m not too sure how entertaining the northerners were today.

Amazing performance from The Wire! Totally bossed them up the middle. Defence was fantastic. All on a very hot day.

Didn't expect a Wire win but when everyone from 1-17 plays well for any side, it gives you a good chance.

It was a full team effort, everyone played well, but Daryl Clark is superhuman... what a player!

Sounds excellent. Will they do a parade round the town mate?

Great performance from The Wire. Every man played close to the best of his ability and executed the game plan perfectly. This may cause Saints to worry a little more coming up to the playoffs...

Saints could well use this as motivation for the playoffs and bounce back well from it, but I also think it’ll give Wire and Wigan the confidence that they could beat Saints in the GF Eliminator or Grand Final itself.

It’s thrown the season wide open after Saints have been head shoulders and torso above everyone else, everyone thinking they were a foregone conclusion to win the GF and the relegation battle being the biggest talking point of the season so far.

The relegation battle is still going to be immense with three games to go!
