Rugby Union Six Nations 2023

An intelligent Englishman at 12 or 13 made me laugh, the last one only looked good on the back of playing outside Scott Gibbs for the Lions, the other is a 10 in Farrell.
I'll take the draw :-)
Regarding Mr Edwards was I right in thinking that i Heard the comms say that was only the 2nd time his team had conceded a defensive extra point ?

Edwards - not sure, they talked of it being close to the most his side had conceded, so could be right.

What’s your feelings tomorrow Gaz ?
Just don’t want to be humbled .
Well after the first two games I fear the worst, without checking when the tread started I hinted that us and Italy would play for the wooden spoon.
To many players at their sell by date and when young blood looked good, never got another crack ( Wainright last word cup played in the semi final played two games since ? )
Regarding tomorrow I do believe its a free hit for Wales, win papers over the cracks with a feel good factor, loose blame the WRU.
If you mean humbled by 30 to 40 points I don't think so, that would be a total lack of passion.
If unlike City we give our best attacking player the ball, then wo knows.
Any piss taking regarding the resultI will have to deat l with on Sunday.
Mams not in a good way so travelling back to Manchester am.
Enjoy the weekend, Wales and City wins :-)

Aaron Wainright? He’s probably got 20 caps since the World Cup.

I’m optimistic tomorrow is the start of something, Mason Grady is an absolute monster and the centre we’ve needed for 8 years. Hawkins is pretty good and they had a great partnership for the u20s.

LRZ and Adams back on the wings and we probably have something resembling the future backline.

The problem is that 1) This really isn’t the game to debut a new backline and 2) There pack are old and lightweight and in poor form.

@domalino and @big gaz some really good points there.
Unfortunately I do think Wales seem to always be short sighted. World Cup is months away and we are experimenting against England at home.
There is a huge gulf between the four regions and any other format including U 20’s. No real bridge at all.
The Regional game is dying by a thousand cuts I believe and the success of the National team is despite the current club set up.
I am an Anglophile but hope we prevail. Better England teams have come unstuck at Caerdydd.

Absolutely superb stat about Arundell

Really hope England start to develop attacking tactics on top of the kicking game. Lots of talent

I know there are more people on the pitch so less chance of touching the ball, but four touches in four games? That’s ridiculous to read as a rugby league fan.

What position does he play? Isn’t he a full back?

Matt Dufty, the Warrington full back, has had about 15 carries per game since he joined the Wire. What’s an average ‘carries’ stats for a RU FB?
