True but that doesn't mean that the attack should be as one-dimensional as it has been. It's good to see just having a single 10 - the 10/12 only worked with Ford. Lawrence is excellent and Slade is a good playmaker.
We really don't see much of Slade as the ball often arrives slowly to him.
It's very odd that they don't give the wings a run more though.
Ford's got a better kicking game, so you're right - Smith isn't going to kick much at 12, and Farrell's kicking isn't as subtle as Ford's.
I'm quite surprised that Smith hasn't been given this match to start though. He seems a bit more space than he often gets at 10 though, or faster ball to attack a broken line.
