Why do some rugby players sound like David Brent on steroids?

Yet South Africa lost one of there stars to a drugs ban just before the tournament. If you’re going to throw the steroids accusations around, I’d suggest you cast your net a little wider that Britain when it comes to rugby union.

for some reason the WRU always draw the pots about 2 years before so at the time that was the seedings, that said there was talk England would have preferred to ditch/play a shadow team for the French game and play Wales in the semi so we can’t have it all ways

Agreed on the latter point, and I was one of those people, as I honestly thought NZ would win, but I still thought today’s 2 teams were the best one the tournament even that being so.
As for the seedings two years ago, you might be right bud, as I don’t follow the sport that closely, but I honestly thought England have been best team in northern hemisphere for last 4 years, apart from maybe most recent 6 Nations campaign.

I concur. But I'm not really a rugby fan, it comes a very distant third behind footy and cricket for me, so I haven't watched that much top level rugby.

It seems to me that that matched anything England played in 2003, no? I had the sense that without Wilkinson, they might well not have won it. But this current team doesn't seem to depend as much on any one player.

It would be pretty cool for England to be double world champions in the same calendar year.

England would be better of playing south africa in my opinion. To beat Australia New Zealand Then S Africa would be magnificent.
Ive got this feeling if we play wales it will be a lot tougher
