Rugby Union World Cup 2019

I concur. But I'm not really a rugby fan, it comes a very distant third behind footy and cricket for me, so I haven't watched that much top level rugby.

It seems to me that that matched anything England played in 2003, no? I had the sense that without Wilkinson, they might well not have won it. But this current team doesn't seem to depend as much on any one player.

It would be pretty cool for England to be double world champions in the same calendar year.

we had a pack in 2003 that was one of the best England have produced that gave the platform for the backs to perform, JW made the difference against France in the semi in a rain soaked pen fest but the saying “forwards decides who win and the backs by how many” applies now as did then, our back row today way other worldly

New Zealand's biggest problem is they're so cutthroat with their selections that as soon as a world class player has a dip in form they are dropped and replaced by the new kid on the block.

You look at their backline and they have absolutely no experience in there other than Beauden who is shunted to 15.

Then compare it to the 2011 and 2015 back lines.
Not too different from what your suggest City do in a regular basis

England would be better of playing south africa in my opinion. To beat Australia New Zealand Then S Africa would be magnificent.
Ive got this feeling if we play wales it will be a lot tougher
I think we'll lose to SA tomorrow but if we were to win then we'd give England a much tougher game than NZ did today, we wouldn't be so easily bullied.
England were fantastic today but NZ played braindead rugby and were complete shithouses

First up well done England, they were great today end of.
Now on to bluemoon32, ffs man grow a pair, if we get beat so be it, but not "I think we'll loose to SA tomorrow " that's just lame. Last chance for some of the lads so its do or die, no point sat in the changing rooms after the game saying "I wish I did this or that". Make the tackles, stay disciplined,Kick the pens, and take any chance that comes our way, in fact do what England did except in a red shirt.

Normally i'd be more confident but we have quite a few players being held together by tape and bandages......fcuk it, bash the Boks

In your myopic world may be
The rest of us saw an absolutely dominant performance with the ball in hand that completely enveloped the all blacks.
I don’t know who you support but your are a biased person

If you think that was a spectacle, we interpret that word differently.
Suffocating and dominant, yes. But a spectacle? No.

Oh come off it. England didn’t allow NZ to play.

Your summary is fucking wank here.

And yes, SA would be a different game, England play like this and it’s 50 points.

Which is WHY it was one of the worst performances by NZ. The two do not have to be independent.
