Rugby World Cup 2023

And never playing anyone good so far.

They better respect the Haka if they get to the final, but I doubt it all while singing their slavery song in the stands and we can't hear the words to the Haka, then the team themselves form a V shape for some insane demented reason.

The All Blacks might as well sing Mary Had a Little Lamb when they play England as we won't be able to hear them over that chariot racket.

No respect at all.
I watched Ireland vs NZ and the Irish drowned out the Haka too.

I thought it really added to the spectacle.

The haka is a challenge. It's bollocks that the other team has to stand and respect it. Get in their faces and step up to the challenge.

NZ are so fucking precious about their pre game dance, best place they can do it is in the changing rooms, like they did when they spat their dummies out in Cardiff. I see they're even bringing out weapons now ffs lulz

I'm a complete RU novice. I only watch the six nations and the world cup.

Watched every minute of the quarter-finals this weekend and thought it was amazing.

South Africa vs France has got to be up their with one of the greatest games ever, right?
The intensity was unreal, i tip my hat to both sides

I'm a union man but i enjoy league too, the international game in union dwarfs that of league, which hasn't really got a regular international game

I thought NZ v Ireland was slightly better, but you could pick any of those QFs to be honest. They were all so tight! The quality on show in NZ v Ireland and SA v France was absurd. The handling and attacking creativity in the former was just brilliant, and then the defensive work from both sides, but particularly NZ was phenomenal. Dealing with 40+ phases late on and not conceding a penalty was a monster effort from NZ.

The SA came up with a plan to match the French kicking game and boy did it work, they sucker punched the French brilliantly. And then in the second half it became a forwards war as the two battered each other.

You seem to have a very unhealthy dislike to all things English rugby. Or is it all things English?

It was a great game. The SA try at the end was pure old school power and determination. The modern game can be a bit clinical but this game had plenty of drama. France clearly had it in them to steal the win but the clock ran out.

France were unlucky in maybe 2 calls by the ref late on. So much can hang on the refs calls. But they lost because of the errors in handling and kicking and it was the SA pressure that forced thise errors.
