Running thread

I did a practice 10k yesterday in 1:05:36. I'll need to cut half a minute per kilometre if I'm going to beat an hour. I'm fully expecting to be in the relegation zone in the final reckoning.

Hopefully I can do a sub 45 but will be doing a long run at the weekend as well so will have to see how the legs are(thats my excuse and Im sticking to it!!)

Its certainly inspired me in these isolated times. Even though running and keeping fit consistently for the last 30 years and all through the lockdown. I'm new to strava and virtual race and it adds motivation. I might even refrain from the real ale on Saturday in preparation!

All this talk of sub 45 minutes is making me queasy, I’ll be lucky if I do a sub 55. Might drive to the top of a mountain and run the 10km downhill
