You have a 20 miler in the bag now mate so well on your way, Ive not done that many races since the last one either, sometimes it being your first race for a while can work in your favour as they do give you an extra push, although I spend most of my races trying to get away from people, the first four miles was a Scottish bloke doing my head in with his monotone accent jibbering away to his mate, then around mile 15 had a scouser who sounding like he was going to have a heart attack on my shoulder for about 2 miles before i shook him off, running at 4.30am has none of these problems!!Cheers Gaz. I’ve struggled with injuries since doing the last Manchester Marathon. I’ve not done any races since. It’s not been ideal prep for the Manc marathon but I’d be elated to get within 4 hours 15.
Congrats on your runs by the way, some amazing times.
