I would be avoiding dairy (cholesterol) to be honest but that's just me.....and an aside, and from a healthy eating perspective, what's everyone's thoughts on yoghurts?
I tend to have a small bowl around 5 ish - two dessert spoons of Greek yoghurt *(full fat) rammed with blueberries and raspberries/few nuts and milled flax seed.
Ties me over before gym/running sessions as I tend to eat quite late (another bad habit!).
Is this routine surplus (at least the yoghurt bit) or is it a good addition to my eating habits?
Could you revert to your old trainers for a week to see what happens?Anyone one had an Achilles heel issue?
I occasionally get a twinge and they're gone the next day, but my current pain has been around for a few weeks now.
Wondering if it's my change of trainers (from Brooks Ghosts to HOKA Clifton's) as there was a mention of a heel issue with this particular model.
But it's only one foot that is affected.
It's not hugely painful, just noticeable when running and at the gym.
Worth trying a few exercises? Could do with not having yet another break from running if I can help it.
Possibly mate - my old Brooks were wayyyy overused in the end tbf (and have a nice big hole near the toe) but it's an option to try.Could you revert to your old trainers for a week to see what happens?
I once had Achilles tendonitis. A sports physio asked if I had had a recent change of environment. I had just switched from Nike football boots to Adidas. I changed back, and the problem disappeared promptly.

I hope it's not them.Yes I have had that recently and last year also. Just a dull ache when I started pushing past 6/10ks.
I did go and see a physio but to be honest all the stretches/exercises are available online and both times it quickly cleared up. Similarly I have been running in Hoka Zinals recently on the trails so not sure if there is a connection based on your comments.

I really like them!
