Running thread

I've had a break from running for the past 3 months, I've had achilles tendonitis for the past year. I pulled the trigger and bought some new running shoes from an independent shop recently having had my running style assessed etc. Early days obvs but they're feeling great and keeping my tendonitis at bay whilst racking up the milage.
Nice one, what shoes did yer get

Triumphs are ace, I've got a pair that have well over 1000km done and they still going strong
That's good to hear pal! They're the comfiest runners I've ever had so far. I used to run in Nike free runs which were great. In recent years I've ran in entry level trainers and quickly learnt you need to look after your feet and find shoes with the correct support etc.

Has anyone tried the adidas Adios Pro 3's for a half-marathon distance? Would you recommend if so?

I'm also looking in to my every day neutral runners, always used Nike Pegasus mainly here, but anyone got any other recommendations?

cant do 10k today, seriously hungover and ache all over, failed challenge.
Fuck that!!! Get yer soft southern shandy drinking arse out there and get it finished, crissake man, no point in even starting it if you are going to play the fanny card at the end.
Down some water, get a carld shower and get the fuck out there

Funny you should ask, the adiós pro 3 just landed in my stable today, will let you know how they go.
As for an everyday shoe, the pegs have gone to shit in the last few years, I do like the Boston 12 for an everyday jobby.
Sportshoes have a decent 20% off if you download their app, brings the Boston 12 down to about a ton which is a steal.
