Muscle soreness lasted for a few days, which was concerning, but went away just before a week in Spain. Felt good enough to run again, so did two 4k runs whilst away, seemed much easier running along a promenade with the sound of the sea in your ear. No muscle soreness this time, well nothing that lasted more than a couple of hours anyway.
After a couple of busy weeks after holiday, now running every 3 days. Shaved 4 mins from my first timed run, so going in the right direction. Will need to start adding distance on soon, but still having to stop a couple of times running 5k, so want to try and do that in one go. Currently 33 min for 5k
Also rowing on non-running days, got my 5k time down to 22.47 (initially 28 mins 4 months ago)
