ladies and gents. does anyone recommend any long sleeved thermal baselayers ?
Just the 5k today but with a decent incline at the end. Ran it in 22:54 which was not too shabby and felt pretty strong at the end.
Hopefully will find time to do a longer run midweek.
I bought this and for £7 it is superb! Always been a t shirt and shorts bloke but I'm wrong side of 30 now and needed something to help with the artic wind. Thermals have helped on those longer runs or recovery runs allowing for a steadier pace without freezing.

Took my youngster out for her first ever outdoor run today.
Batted off 2.5k like a boss.
Hopefully she will get into it and we'll have another shared interest
How often do runners on here have rest days?
I'm currently running 4.5miles a day and been resting every 5th/6th day.
Only had a quick look at those two, butbif your thinking of spending that much, then maybe look for a deal on a fenix 5,Im looking for a new running watch, apple one just doesn't give enough data I don't think, im looking at the Garmin Forerunner 745 or 945, which one do people recommend?
I'm not a big fan of running in the wet or cold, so I'm only going out two or three times a week at the moment. I'm doing 14-15 kilometres each time though, to compensate for the reduced frequency. How often do runners on here have rest days?

Im using a fenix 6 which is pretty much the same as a 5 but has longer battery life, it has all the data possible with a garmin, and you can download music onto it, so you dont have to take your phone with you when running.
I used to have a fenix 5 but upgraded it to a 6 as the battery will only last four hours on a run with music on, where the 6 will last for I think 12 hours.
Also if your looking at a fenix try and get a sapphire one as they are pretty much unbreakable, mines been in all kind of scrapes and theres not a scratch on it.
