I'm on your side here. I agree that the idea of a God murmering some words created us. At the same time I can't understand how a 'big bang' theory is the answer - it just creates more questions, starting with, what happened before the big bang?

We aren't in a position to answer all the questions or to command some divine knowledge, so we probably shouldn't be dicks to people who's beliefs are different to ours. That's what pushes us further to figuring it all out.

This is not news...I'll throw in that the face of Jesus as popularly depicted is generally taken from statues of Alexandra the Great...again pretty common knowledge, also a lot of biblical tales originated in the 'epic of Gilgamesh'...others were taken from older scripts. Again nothing new here.
Now, go through your rip routine on Hinduism...a fair bit older, but plenty of comedy gold in there...

I agree that it's all went quiet and may just be a natural Phenomenon. It's the questions it raises that interests me.
